One year after the COVID cancellation of the original IN CLOUDS, Moor Music and Leaps & Bounds are back with a sacrilegious sonic sermon of biblical proportions — IN CLOUDS
Resurrected and reimagined over 8 hours and run across two spellbinding stages, IN CLOUDS will showcase the holy vanguards of Melbourne's underground music scene, with a procession of the city's highest-flying live-music angels and selectors performing in all their gossamer glory.
Enhanced by audiovisual installations and live art performances, IN CLOUDS will take its disciples on a debaucherous journey to the un-holiest of holy places. Because it ain't depravity if it's defying gravity.

This NYE, Jazz-rave renegades Moor Music & Velodrome Events present: DUSK - a eleven -hour, open-air festival at new, offbeat shipping container oasis, The Abbotsford Lot.
On December 31st, the distinctive downtown destination will transform into an urban doof of deadly proportions, featuring a legendary assortment of live acts and selectors to help us send-off 2021 with a supersonic bang.

In full view of the city skyline, artists will take the stage amongst decked-out shipping containers, retro memorabilia, antique bric-a-brac, and street art installations soon to become synonymous with the open-air site. Here, considered aesthetic and aural elements lend an electric ambience to rival the underground rave scene of East Berlin and the 90s doof movement of inner-city Melbourne before it went bush.
Over eleven jam-packed hours, DUSK will showcase an alluring banquet of hypnotic grooves and frenetic rhythms guaranteed to oil up weary, weathered bones. On the open-air stage, the dance music mastery of headliner Ausecuma Beats will count us down to 2022, perhaps with an afrobeat mosh pit or two. Cosmic disco outfit Honey will deliver a sweet and succulent set that is hot, heavy and 100% dripping. Jazzy-house heroes GOODMOOD (UK) and JK Group will bring their instrumental dance music mayhem to the mix, alongside three-part female-led sorceresses of synth soul, Empress.
Bringing the club to the container-lot will be an atmospheric assortment of local DJs who'll be keeping the dance floor pumping from day to night. From the supreme turntable technique of Melbourne's don of house music DJ JNETT and the worldly grooves of TEYMORI, the discotheque stylings of Mason Jordy and the explosive beats of RBI; our curated collection of sophisticated selectors will pay homage to the entire electronic spectrum of soul, funk, jazz, disco and more.
Amidst the phenomenal assortment of live acts and DJs, an abundance of local neighbourhood food vendors will be on call via QR code throughout the occasion, ready to deliver the best of Victoria Street's incredible Vietnamese food offering direct to The Abbotsford Lot.
A unique recipe of sensory satisfaction, join us as DUSK falls and we welcome in the new year as we mean to go on: on the dusty doof dance floor. Because if you can't get rid of the skeletons in your closet, you'd best teach them to dance.

From afro-beat and progressive disco to nu jazz and future soul, this divine procession of punk jazz pioneers have been summoned to the altar to preach their symphonic scripture for one night only.

TEYMORI
Melbourne-based producer Amin Payne has adopted his alias TEYMORI to explore a distinctive take on house music. His debut EP and corresponding live show merges the sounds of funk, afro, soul & percussive rhythms to take you on an organic journey through sophisticated grooves.
HONEY
Cosmic disco meets ethereal house, acid boogie meets broken beat. Honey have firmly planted their flag at the crest of the disco-revival wave sweeping Melbourne, gathering a cult following of party people from their northside hive along the way.
UNCOMFORTABLE SCIENCE
Bandleader Lachlan Mitchell (Laneous, Vulture St Tape Gang, Harry James Angus, Jazz Party) directs an ever-changing lineup of musicians through an improvised jam using only a whiteboard and a pen, shifting and contorting the composition of each song in real-time with the unpredictable brilliance of a mad scientist. Featuring a rotating cast of familiar names from stalwart projects such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Barney McAll, and Sex On Toast, Uncomfortable Science have earned themselves a cult status in the Melbourne music scene.
EMMA VOLARD
Future soul artist Emma Volard’s genre-defying sound fuses elements of jazz harmony and broken beat with gut-wrenching lyricism to create a cosmic ether of spiritual dance music.
Her music is deeply rooted in seeking justice and storytelling with political, environmental, and personal undertones, as she shares her own reality and reflects upon universal truths. Emma's vulnerable personal lens in the industry shows sensitivity towards life's foibles that she believes is influenced by her non-verbal, severely autistic, and epileptic sister, Adelaide. Through her distinct lyrical expression and incessant groove, Emma hopes to continue to provide a voice for not only her sister but a voice for change in today’s modern diaspora; a voice for those who aren’t heard.
AMADOU SUSO AND FRIENDS
The phenomenally talented Amadou Suso is a master of the kora, a traditional West African stringed instrument, and is also a direct descendent of the world’s first kora player, Koriang Musa Suso. As a music maker or ‘jali’ by birthright, Amadou embodies the griot traditions of the Mandinka of West Africa. Known widely as the ‘Jimi Hendrix of the kora’, Amadou fulfills his ancestral duties to share the culture of his people through an intoxicating contemporary mastery of the African harp.Event Details to come soon -
